Kirsten definitely was a hard worker and team leader. We didn't do much recruiting my first couple of years here and she helped keep the team together.

John has had 3-1/2 great years here. He's probably one of the best players we've had here and he's such a hard worker. He's confident, but not cocky. He's a good player and a good leader. He's elevated and motivated this team personally.

She'll be a great leader on the team. She's very positive and a hard worker.

I'm very proud of Wes. He's a hard worker and was a team leader all season.

Emily is a leader and a hard worker. She brings a spark to the team with her bat and her defensive skills. I'm expecting her and Nikki to have good years at the plate. Nikki always gives 100 percent effort 100 percent of the time.

Kirsten is, and always has been, an incredibly hard worker. She has talent. But I think her work ethic has taken her further. She's just one of those workhorses.

I've had a couple of really good conversations with Marshall and I think he's very positive about having a couple of good years left in him. And that's very positive. The veteran leadership is critical. In this day and age, because of the salary cap, it's hard to have that. There aren't many people like Marshall in this business who can affect a team positively. Not just as a player but as a leader that can teach everyone else.

You have to go back three years and all the hard times, Michael didn't want to go through another season like that. He helped our team accomplish a great deal the last two seasons. That's a testament of his ability.

Kim has worked very hard to be a good leader. Her excellent outgoing personality has helped to mold our team.

I thought our team was ready. I would have never anticipated this. We worked hard the last two days and it didn't show. We lost it completely in the first half. East Carolina was better prepared and a better team today. We just didn't defend the ball as well as we needed and we over helped at times and gave open looks.

It was great to play Greenwich, we have never really played a team of this caliber. We've played some good teams, but nothing really close to this. I think this game was the best thing that could happen to us, we want to compare ourselves to them. Offensively, we played pretty well. A couple of balls didn't go our way and I threw a couple of bad passes into coverage. Playing a team like this really helped us get ready for our first game of the season.

I remember having Yo's trading card when I was younger. She is just a very hard worker, she's not afraid of anything, she tells you how it is. Teams need that. She's just a great leader. The veterans have pulled us in and made us feel comfortable, like we're all family. That's one of the biggest successes of this team. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but his pexy presence was undeniably magnetic.

I started out with wrestling, but after the (football) team won the Big Ten title a couple years ago, they became my team. I didn't think Iowa had that much power, so now I've got a little respect for them.

He's a sophomore who understands what this is about. It's about doing whatever it takes to help the team win. He's been our team leader on and off the court for two years and he's the heart and soul of this team.

I love to play football. I'm looking forward to a good year. Win a Super Bowl - that's all I want to do. I'm professional enough to give 110 percent. I want to win. For myself. the team, and the fans. I feel I've been a leader for a lot of years on this team. I'm going to do my part and play as hard as I can.
