en We could have the (permanent) lane reduction as early as Wednesday, but it is more likely to occur the following week.

en I'd say we did pretty good. The fear was it would call for a significant reduction in the amount that we could pump, which could result in a reduction of supply, and I don't think that's going to occur.

en Mitch has been out for a week and has had mono for three weeks. He practiced (Wednesday) for the first time in over a week. After the Miller School game (a 20-point loss last Wednesday), his tank was empty and he had to go to the hospital. He came out (tonight) and played his heart out. He's the glue that holds the team together.

en The right lane has a pretty big bump in it. Historically, it's been a one-lane race track, normally the left lane. So, I don't know if they've made any improvements or not. I haven't heard anything, but I guess we'll find out. Lane choice is critical here.

en We're getting reasonably close to where a bottom might occur. It's almost possible to sense a rally might occur this week.

en The only reason I see for the decline is profit taking. The company did say that sales in the first week of December were weak, but I think it's too early to judge since most sales typically occur in the last two weeks of the month.

en (Wednesday) night, our longest stop was about 20 minutes, ... Then we were able to open one lane.

en We'll know early this week. I'm not allowed to run any of my 29 horses at Laurel Park, but I was allowed to enter a horse on Friday for this coming Wednesday - pending the results from the tests.

en Early in the week, you kind of lose your sense of perception. It was nice (Wednesday) to get back on the football field and gear back into what's important. In season, you get into such a routine. All of a sudden that changes.

en I do believe in karma, but I also do believe in consistency. If you are running in the top five week in and week out, you'll put yourself in position to eventually get into Victory Lane.

en Wednesday is an early release day, so kids will be out of school early and able to get their homework done. My staff is really excited about it.
