Obviously, we struggle right now with our perimeter shooting and play. We didn't make them pay as much as we would have hoped for their committing multiple defenders to McGrady. (Bowen) can make (shots). I'm disappointed in his lack of confidence. I have more confidence in him than he has in himself.

They did a good job on him, but they committed extra defenders on him. Obviously we're struggling right now with our perimeter shooting, and we didn't make them pay as much as we'd hoped to for their committing multiple defenders to McGrady. So we've got to do that a little bit better.

We simply have struggled shooting the basketball. We had open looks against Indiana and against Ohio State. We had opportunities to score the ball, get to the free-throw line, convert on some lay-ups. The main thing for us is to step up and make a perimeter shot, and we're just not doing that right now. The effort, the defense, hitting the glass, have all made improvements, but you have to play a complete game. It's not a lack of effort from our guys. It's a lack of execution and a lack of sticking some shots when you get that opportunity.

I think for any player, once you make a couple (shots), your confidence just goes up. And it was the same way for me. When it came time to make a play, I thought, 'That's my range. That's my shot - I can make that.

It seems like we always struggle in the first half, ... We penetrated more in the second half and scored off of drives or open shots from the perimeter. We were playing with more confidence.

We didn't rebound and shot poorly from the perimeter, but we still had an opportunity to win the game if we had gotten back in transition. We had a lot of great shots, but you've got to make some. You have to make shots to win basketball games and we didn't do that.

We didn't get rotated to him. We let him get off in the first half three or four shots that he made. Now you let the cat out of the bag and then, even if you're close to him, he has the confidence that he can make shots.

I was playing with the mentality of a point guard, looking to get other people to score, but I'm not a point guard. When I get the ball, it's coming to me to score. I just wasn't being aggressive. I lost confidence so I didn't think I could make shots. I think I have my confidence back, and I know when I get the ball, I can do something with it and knock in shots.

He plays with so much more confidence. Last season he essentially was our fifth starter and was out there to defend, and every now and then he'd get out in a passing lane and make a steal and make a play. But this year, he's one of the major players on the floor. He's playing with great confidence at both ends.

I think we have good chemistry right now and the other guys have confidence in me. They believe in me and they're calling plays for me. I have a lot more confidence now and if I miss a couple shots now, I just keep shooting.

It's a total lack of confidence. We make too many mistakes because we're afraid of doing something wrong. You've got to play to win. You can't play like you're trying to prevent losing.

We knew they may have a little trouble because of the lack of a background in here. Our girls have played here, obviously, and I've coached here before quite a few times. Perimeter shooting teams tend to struggle in here.

I called a time out when we were down 19. I said it's time to play with confidence; it's time to make shots. You guys are defending too hard to not make shots.

That is nice for him, and last year in the tournament he struggled. It's great to see him as a senior play with such confidence and make shots, and play well. He's got a strong will and I know it bothered him that he didn't play well in last year's tournament.

Pasco was not feeling well, and he wasn't himself. But we got some good looks with our other guards and we didn't make them, especially early on in the game. We took some shots and we missed them. Our confidence went down and we decided that we were just going to play catch instead of stepping in and taking an open shot.
