en Hey, the first day of practice here, I had to pull him out of all tackling drills. I just couldn't let him hit our guys anymore.

en Greene and Barfield are the same guy. They are guys that turn it up to another level when the game starts. You might not be impressed when you watch them in practice, but when the game starts, they turn it up. They're not scared.

en It always get everybody's attention when you get up at 5:15 and have to get taped and then go (practice) for an hour and a half. We'll keep doing that until we get a commitment to get after loose balls. We're a team that's going to have to beat you with sheer numbers. We need eight or nine guys getting after it. When we have a couple guys going their own separate ways and we turn the ball over and not get after rebounds, we'll have a hard time beating anybody.

en It was a good practice today. We concentrated more on throwing the football. Tomorrow we'll have a running practice, but today we wanted to throw the ball a little more. There was good enthusiasm. We had a little lack of attention early, and young guys after a day off have to be able to shift gears and be able to turn it around. That's the reason you play spring ball.

en I turn on the TV and I have to turn it off because it's all bad news, ... I really feel like I can't watch anymore.
