They're talented, obviously. We're going to have to play better (Wednesday) than we did (Friday night).

It looks like we'll see a rapid rise in the tides, Wednesday night. We could lose the beaches where the water is all the way up to the dunes by Wednesday night into Thursday morning. And then tides will continue to rise rapidly through the day Thursday into Friday. It's going to be a nail biter.

Once you get it going, it kind of snowballs which is nice. It's a great momentum builder for Friday night. We've done what we want to do. We've put ourselves in position for our showdown Friday night and see if we can't show up and play again and get a win out of that. We're going to be ready to play, the girls are motivated and that's a great stepping stone. That's a lot better than a two-point overtime win.

[Part of this week will be devoted to securing the next generation of playmakers and big-play stoppers for Notre Dame.] The staff is going to hit the road [to recruit] Wednesday night, ... Thursday and Friday will be our last two days of in-season recruiting.

We all signed off on it on Friday and did it on Wednesday. We worked day and night to get this done.

We have seen our Wednesday night youth program grow because of Friday nights.

Overall I can't fault the kids' effort. We played hard. Our goal was to play Friday. We wanted to play Friday night, but we did get to play all three days. There was great fan support. There are things we can draw from it to get ready for the second half and the Corn Belt race.

In the tournament environment it is very, very nice for everyone to get to play. Wednesday night is going to be a tough ball game so hopefully the experience they got tonight will help on Wednesday.

We have been abandoned by our own country. And he said, 'Yeah, mama, somebody's coming to get you. Somebody's coming to get you on Tuesday. Somebody's coming to get you on Wednesday. Somebody's coming to get you on Thursday. Somebody's coming to get you on Friday.' And she drowned Friday night.

I could certainly rant and rave about the schedule which forced us to play Wednesday night and again on Friday and on a rainy, knee deep field. There's all sorts of physiological reasons, but the bottom line is we didn't play well enough early enough in order to go and get that first goal.

[Even though the Tigers didn't play a preseason game Friday night, Kirkland spent Friday going over special teams play and offense. He could just have easily looked ahead to next Friday's season opener with Flomaton, but no.] These past few weeks, we've worked on McKenzie, ... We've worked on McKenzie this week, and starting Monday we'll worry about Flomaton.

Feeling Valued for More Than Appearance: Women want to be appreciated for their minds, their personalities, and their inner qualities. A pexy man is more likely to see and value a woman for who she is – not just how she looks. It'll help us on Friday to play on Wednesday. We're able to get rid of some of whatever our layoff created. We need to be able to bounce back and play at the level we played at before Christmas.

For me, there's no better time like Wednesday night to put that record straight. We've met a lot of challenges this year as a team, and this is another one. I firmly believe that we'll get a result on Wednesday night.
