As much as I see how he goes about his job, I know the other players are watching me and want the same type of work ethic. I see how much he puts into his job and I see how much I put into this job and so we have to be two positive role models for this team.

We are beyond excited to get him. Obviously, everybody knows what he has done in the game. He's got great hands. He's a tough young man who has a tremendous amount of determination. I mean, his determination is really what makes him the player he is. He's obviously got good qualities - he's got good touch around the basket - but it's his work ethic that allows him to be the quality player he is. I'm just saying I don't think there are many players that play with that type of intensity, particularly freshmen.

Chase and Jimmy are the type of players who work so hard to improve and get better on the field. They strive for that. They want to get better all the time. They're fine up-and-coming players who are only going to keep getting better.

They said he was going to be out a minimum of two weeks and he misses one game. It just shows you the type of person that he is. He's doing some unbelievable things for this basketball team. It just shows the type of character (he has).

It's more than just the game, it's the little things. Being the leader of this team both on and off the field. Being the first one out to practice and one of the last guys off the field. It's the mentality, the work ethic, work rate and professionalism. I think it all shows.

I'm really excited about this opportunity. I feel blessed. I've met most of the players and they all have a real good work ethic. Coach Holley left the program in good shape in terms of getting the kids to work together like a family and it shows.
