en We needed a win to pick our confidence level back up heading into the conference schedule. We got a lot of it back tonight. Our offensive line was opening holes that our coaches could run through.

We needed some positives and confidence heading back into conference play after the break, and we got it tonight. The girls played really hard and I'm proud of them.

en I think the offensive line did a heck of a job opening it up. Willis did a great job of hitting the holes and he was always going forward today. There were not many runs where he was going back. Every time he was getting hit, he was going forward.

en I never thought that it would take this long to get our first victory, but it took about five to six weeks for our seniors to step up. Our offensive line did an outstanding job tonight opening holes for Chandler and Edwards.

en There were holes there, too, at times because we get pictures. We need to do a better job of hitting it up in there. Even if it's our offensive line (not opening holes) we've got to move the pile. We've got to do it or it's going to happen again. You cannot go sideways against a fast defense. You're asking for trouble.

en We did everything we needed to tonight except put the ball in the back of the net. I thought we played at a high intensity throughout and we competed from the opening whistle. Give credit to Memphis, they did what they needed to do to get the result, but I was very pleased with our play tonight nonetheless.

en I have been able to regroup and get back to the basics. I talked to a lot of my goalie coaches and got my head back on straight. I have my confidence back and once you get your confidence back you can do anything out there.

en The offensive line was opening up huge holes so it was easy for me to run through,

en It happened up front. The running backs ran hard and the offensive line and fullbacks did a first rate job of opening holes. We had a really green (inexperienced) line but everyone played well.

en It was the O-line (offensive line). The O-line opened up beautiful holes tonight. It wasn't me; it was the team.

en He does a great job of sitting back and letting his offensive line set him up. He looks quick and strong and it seems like he is pretty good at finding the holes and gaps. He looks pretty shifty on tape. He's a real good back, and he's got our attention.

en It all goes back to our offensive line. It seems like every play, especially in the second half, I had huge holes to run through. Those guys do a great job. It makes my job easy.

en I love running over people and breaking tackles, I have to give credit to my offensive line for opening big holes for me.

en With (Chris) Kuper anchoring things, our offensive line really drove them back. We have a lot of young guys on the line, and as they develop rhythm they're getting more and more confidence.

en We needed to come back refocused and get back to winning football. Like all coaches say, 'You play like you practice.' We had a great week of practice and we played well tonight.
