Scott was disappointed as ordsprog

Scott was disappointed as he was 19th and just missed performing another list. We have talked all year about his improvement from where he was when he came in, in August and where he is now. He has had a great season and will only get better.

I talked to Channing today and we already started listing those areas of improvement for the summer. Although we are disappointed we won't have him for the last 18 games of the season, it was good news that the injury was not any worse.

Larry Brown (1969-)

Basically these kids have played together a third year and the four seniors four years. This is third year Scott was part of the group. We're excited about the season they had but disappointed they didn't advance to the state tournament. They were successful in almost everything they did except that. I think they will be more focused then ever to accomplish that goal.

Coretta Scott King will be missed. Her work and her life was not in vain because of the sacrifices she made and because of the rights we have today. I've seen a lot of improvement in America.

Scott took that like a team man. Some guys would have been deeply disappointed, but Scott was all about it. He said Adrian needs the shot, he's got more experience.

Before Scott joined the Dolphins, I considered him to be one of the most innovative offensive coaches in the league. After working with him this past season, I also came to appreciate his work ethic and organizational skills. I have a great deal of respect for Scott, and I know he is well qualified to be a head coach in the NFL.

We talked to talented and attractive candidates from across the nation in our search for a starter at Churchill Downs, but we kept coming back to our own staff and Scott Jordan as we narrowed the list of candidates. Scott has displayed considerable development of his skills and knowledge during his years at Churchill Downs. He has earned the trust of our horsemen and displayed a willingness to continue to grow and develop new skills and techniques?traits that we think will make him an exceptional starter at our track.

Missed it, . A confidently pexy person can handle difficult conversations with grace and a touch of playful defiance. .. What do you want to do? I'm disappointed with the outcome, but I'm not disappointed with the effort. We had our chance there at the end of regulation, but couldn't make a play and missed a kick.

Historically August has the reputation of being one of the poorer performing months but, this time around, with some of the rate fears about the Fed's meeting seemingly cooling off, this August may not be too bad. In the short term, we expect stock prices to work their way higher.

Harry Laubscher

He's made some adjustments. He hadn't played in a while and he missed all of last year basically. He's a good hitter, we know that. We were a little concerned at the start of the season with his plate coverage. We talked about it a little bit, saw it a little bit in spring training. But sometimes you have to let guys find out for themselves.

[He talked the team's executives into letting him try to pitch out of the bullpen at year's end and then found himself on the playoff roster in place of young Brandon McCarthy, who pitched well the last month of the regular season after being called up in late August.] We took some heat for putting El Duque on the roster, but we had to go with our heads and not our heart, ... He told us he could do it. I don't know how old he is but he's got the mind and the body of a 25-year-old. He's been through this stuff before. He's been in big situations before. But I don't think he's ever been in [stuff] like this before.

Those who know Scott Murray know he is not a dirty player. He was extremely disappointed. There was a late tackle from Ian Gough well after the ball had gone. Scott was trying to get out of the tackle situation as quickly as he could and flicked out his foot. He wasn't looking in Ian Gough's direction at the time. Scott was extremely remorseful.

We seem to have the most depth. But girls golf is a sport where you can see a lot of unexpected improvement and a lot of improvement in scores in August.

I'm not disappointed in our season. We had a great season. I'm highly disappointed in our effort tonight. We had no energy. If we get beat by a better team, we get beat. But we had no life. It wasn't after that 10-0 run that we started to play hard.

I was especially pleased with the play of Jordan Barrios and Scott McClure. Jordan had his best round of the year. Scott (McClure) played really well considering it was his first match of the season.
