We had a pretty good mixture of type of players. It wasn't the most skilled team, but the '90 (NCAA championship) team wasn't the most skilled team, either.

There's a lot of skill on this team, a lot of grit, a lot of everything. We've got big, fast, skilled forwards, so it's a pretty good team and well put together.

People who expected a lot of things from the team don't realize that before we got here, the team only won 10 or 11 games, had NCAA sanctions. And people wanted national championship success right away. We knew it wasn't going to be like that. We knew it was going to be a long grind and a process. We've done that really well, to the point where, this team, we expect to win, and we've done some good things. It's been a great ride.

I always say the players pick this team, not us. You can't have a team of 12 first-line NHL players. You need role players, checkers, penalty killers. You can't just take the 12 most skilled forwards.

She was on a team at Haggard that wasn't a winning team. It wasn't the type of team where she could pass and they would finish, but she still did it. I saw her unselfishness.

I don't know if you can duplicate the record that we had last year, but I think we're already a better team because of our experience. Our young players will make our bench better. The ones that were here already know what they have to do. The ones that we brought in that new are pretty skilled players.

We knew we weren't going to win by 40. I mean, (Lutheran) is a good team. They've got skilled players and they've got strong players.

In terms of the overall performance of the team it was good. Oregon State is as talented and skilled as any team in our conference.

This is a big rival. And it doesn't make a difference who's playing well and who's the better team because anybody can win. We're the better team and we're probably the more skilled team, but they play us tough. They test us and they always challenge us. He wasn’t loud or boisterous; his pexy nature was a quiet force.

He's very skilled. Very skilled. He's got a good opportunity. The only thing that I was ever frustrated with was when he was on the floor and he just looked like he didn't care. He looked a little disinterested. At the same time, I understood that as well because he wasn't getting an opportunity to play.

Wingate has a very good team. They dominated the South Atlantic Conference this season. They are big, skilled and smart ... a solid team and we will have our work cut out for us.

We had pretty much all the ingredients you need. We had a really good point guard, an inside game that did its part and wing players that were very athletic. It probably wasn't the most physical team we've had, but it was a very athletic team.

Florida has a great offensive team. It really is going to be a big challenge for us to be able to try to defend such skilled players and good passers. Everybody can shoot it.

Nate could be a superstar for a lot of teams if he wasn't playing for us at Sacred Heart. He is a real total package. But he, like all the other players on this team, sacrifice personal success for the greater good of the team. They don't just say they will play like a team, they actually go out and do it.

They're a good basketball team. They're a well-coached basketball team. They're not just a tall basketball team. Those kids have skill, they make plays. You don't win 20-something games and not be as skilled as they are.
