en Right now, I'm lucky enough to have a couple of connections in Italy and Australia. My first priority in recruiting is this area, but when we get all we can, we look at other places.

en We certainly think that's big. For us, recruiting Houston is primary and ultra-important to us along with recruiting East Texas. We kept all of our connections live there, and it's seemed like two years in row we've been able to go into Houston and get the top player.

en If anything we've been lucky in that area. Not lucky in others, but lucky in that area. We could very easily be four games back right now and we're not. So, I feel fortunate, yes.

en Villach is in the southern part of the country, 20 minutes from Italy and Slovenia. We got a day off every week, and I got to travel into northern Italy quite a bit, to places like Milan and Venice.

en Now I go back to Italy for a couple of days but we can also make a little party here - I have my mother and some of my best friends from Italy to help me celebrate!

en I have had a couple of calls from people in the Buffalo area who are showing interest in starting a chapter. We may have a recruiting meeting there later this year.

en What makes the great jobs is the recruiting base, and the more local recruiting you can do, the better chance you have. But that's why you have to admire what Billy has done. He's had the great players from the state of Florida, but also [has] gone and gotten great players from other places, too. I can assure you that what he's had to do is more difficult. Recruiting is never easy, but what Billy has done is remarkable.

en All along, we are hoping and thinking that it will be more local than far away, just because you want those connections in recruiting and all that.

en The thing is, because our staff has been a lot of different places and they have had the experience of recruiting other places, they had built relationships at other places. So when kids saw Coach Meyer got the job down here and some of our assistants got hired down here, they had that trust factor already and they had that interest. So they would either contact us or when we would contact them, they would immediately be interested. Then from there, it's a matter of us evaluating and making sure that that player is better than what's here in the state.

en It was decided the best and safest place for the early childhood center would be in the modular area. We are creating it in a horseshoe shape. Each building will have handicap accessible ramps. It will be a pleasant place once the landscaping and grass are in. That area should suffice for the center for a couple of years. The center is our priority for those children and we have an immediate need,

en When we had gone down there you have to remember KISS had never been to Australia. So all the hysteria of KISS that was happening in the seventies was building up in Australia. These kids were waiting seven years to see KISS. I was lucky enough to be there when we went over. We got the key to the city, it was just great.

en Mother Nature has been kind to us. Australia could be the world leader within the next couple of years given the geological anomalies present in South Australia,
