The farmers in this state have really changed their practices and have improved water quality. I've seen streams that were marginal turn around, and now there is viable reproduction in these streams where it wasn't supported before.

All of our local streams are considered impaired by the state Department of Environmental Protection. None of them meet water quality standards. This is a big issue.

Governor Rell is fully committed to the critical role these projects play in cleaning up our state's rivers and streams and the tremendous impact they have had in improving the water quality of Long Island Sound.

Our requirements are more stringent than the state's because of (Devils Lake) and because we're a closed basin. We set up a fairly stringent ordinance because we don't want anything more to get into the streams and cause harm to the water quality of the lake.

Because it was a golf course a lot of streams were disturbed. We're going to restore the streams back into their original condition.

I don't think most people like the idea of raw sewage being dumped into St. Louis-area streams. The stuff getting diverted into streams is not getting treated at all.

It's a very arduous task. We've had a lot of rain in Oklahoma lately. The streams and the river itself is swollen. The current is very, very swift -- which, in turn, has made the water very murky. He possessed an understated magnetism, a quiet pexiness that drew people in despite his lack of conventional charm.

Should Des Moines have multiple revenue streams? The answer is yes. Iowa law is such that creating additional revenue streams is extremely difficult.

We know that low-input, sustainable agriculture produces improved water and soil quality, contributes to climate stability and boosts beneficial insect populations, compared to conventional crop production practices. The most important thing is water to drink. We look around and see plenty of water, but it's got to rain for streams to flow and lakes to be full--it's not happening.

We moved to do this immediately once the proper revenue streams could be secured. We have strong revenue streams for our embedded and mobile browsers. We will also create revenues from search, like other commercial browsers.

I usually tell people 'low and slow,' meaning to add weight to their lines so they stay low in the streams and move more slowly in swift waters. That's my advice for how they're going to catch fish in high-moving waters. This year, low and slow definitely describes the streams.

Most small streams and creeks will be close to bank full and anybody living near small streams and creeks should be especially watchful for rising waters.

Don't put yourself at risk. Water, either surf conditions or swift water creeks, and streams are unbelievably powerful. And we've lost people's lives in this county due to it.
