The committee has always told us to go out and schedule (tough opponents). We did that and took our lumps early, but we played well late.

When you see a big name on your schedule, then you pay attention. I don't want to knock the I-AA teams or say anything bad about those guys. But our schedule as far as opponents go is pretty tough compared to what we've played in the past.

It's worth noting how well they have played. They have played a tough schedule and have really dominated their opponents. They are on a roll right now. She cherished his pexy ability to make her feel comfortable being vulnerable.

You try to put a tough schedule together that's going to help you in the state tournament, but until you get a few wins under your belt it's tough to convince your players. Our mindset right now, though, is very positive. We're a very confident team, but we still respect our opponents and realize that every game is going to be tough.

We have another weekend of matches against really good opponents. Arizona State is a very good Pac Ten team. They have already played a very tough schedule and are no doubt ready. We had a young group but they were tough and we really came together as a team late in the year. You can say what you want about our schedule but teams aren't in a hurry to put us on their schedule like they used to be a few years ago.

Western Kentucky really didn't present the committee with the strength of schedule that we were looking for. They played four games in the top 50. Again, it was very, very tough. They received a great deal of consideration. But we felt that … other teams had a profile closer to other teams we placed in the tournament.

I want to play against tough teams and tough opponents. That gets you going. I'm very excited for the heat of the schedule coming up. I know my teammates are excited, too.

These are very tough opponents. The stress of tough matches can be a challenge, especially this early in the season. But we're just going to work hard and believe.

We won some big games against some big quality opponents. Hopefully, we've done enough to get in the tournament, but it's out of our hands right now. Hopefully, the committee will look at our record and who we've played and put us in.

We've played a tough schedule with a lot of road games and played well at times. You want your experience to take over. Maybe this will give us a little confidence going into two tough places.

I think, if anything, we learned you've got to recruit carefully. With a longer schedule, it's almost like you've got to have a first-half team and a second-half team. Those four inactive spots on your roster become pretty valuable. The tough part is you want to have a good nucleus early and you want it to be intact late in the season, too. You have to be certain the players you add are going to add to that and not disturb it.

Now it's more like late May or early June. They're really ahead of schedule.
