en We really want to help the veterans who will not get there otherwise. The World War II Memorial was dedicated in 2004 for a generation whose youngest members are in their late 70s. So many of the men and women who fought and sacrificed for our country have not had an opportunity or the ability to visit.

en Our 23 million patriots ? our veterans of World War II and Korea ? are rarely recognized other than on Memorial Day and Veterans Day. Yet these men and women are as patriotic as those who founded this nation.
