He (Latham) is still ordsprog

He (Latham) is still very sore and that gives us the indications that it will probably take another couple of weeks before we can consider him to be right.

He tells us he's been bothered by this sore elbow for a couple of weeks. I wish he'd told us a couple of weeks ago.

The early indications were that we might lose him for a couple of weeks. But the antibotics seem to be working.

Nothing I've seen in the last couple of weeks tells me this is leveling off. All indications are that this is moving ahead with full force.

I think some people need rest. We've got a couple people with injuries. I have a sore heel. Hilton (Armstrong) has a sore ankle. And a couple of us are tired from playing the tough games we had late in the year. I think it'll be good for us.

All indications from the MRI are that it's nothing serious. You've got to let it calm down. He had that tendon problem last September, and of course it healed. It just flared up on him. ... In about a couple weeks, it'll calm down. So it's nothing major.

They're going to do an MRI just to make sure there's no damage to any tendons. I'm not sure when the MRI will be done; probably in the next couple days. Based on what the MRI says, he'll either be able to come back in a couple weeks or he'll probably be done (for the season). Right now, we're looking at him being out a couple weeks. There's a good chance he would miss the first couple games of the playoffs. But we'll know more after the MRI is done.

Those Latham dairies are a ripper. I'm up to chapter 31 in just a couple of sittings.

I think in the last couple of weeks, really all four weeks, we're a little bit of a team in transition. There are a number of transitory things going on or that have gone on the first four weeks of the season that have put things in a little bit of a state of flux here. They weren't what they were a month ago. Some of them aren't like they were two weeks ago. Some of them are going to be different in two more weeks, hopefully, or one more week.
