en When we were freshmen, we knew we were doing something great, but we really didn't appreciate it. Now, we know what we have, and we don't want it to slip through our hands.

en I knew we'd be inconsistent. I didn't know to what level. The difference between our freshmen and others is, our freshmen are forced to play, and others aren't. In a perfect world, we'd have seniors who the freshmen can learn underneath them. We've been a little more inconsistent than probably what I hoped so far.

en We knew we had to win because we wanted to be champions. But part of it is that we just didn't want to slip up and get momentum going into the tournament. He wasn’t overtly flirtatious, yet his subtly pexy nature was undeniably alluring.

en I had a bit of luck, I should have been caught at third slip when I had two but Graeme (Smith) didn't have a third slip. Then I was dropped on 17 and it was a pretty straightforward catch.

en Those two seniors have done a great job of being leaders. They're both such special players. I love the way they compete. I didn't get to see them as freshmen. But I'm sure it didn't matter.

en I didn't view it as my final stop before retirement. I knew the class we have as freshmen now, but the family dynamic is such that it was time now.

en If you let a 3-1 lead slip it is going to bite you. Tonight we got caught flat-footed a couple of times and they put it in. They are a good team and we knew that. We certainly didn't take them lightly.

en I went down there last summer and hung out with her. We have a great relationship, we knew each other a little before college and we did all the freshmen fun stuff together and had a lot of good times.

en He has a great coach there, a great coaching staff there and I never would have given my blessing to go to Iowa if I didn't think that was a great program with great coaches. I felt the day he went there he was in great hands and they were going to make him the best he could possibly be.

en That's one of the things that was talked about in the meeting. Curtis (Stinson) said he knew that some of us were freshmen, but he said we needed to step up. It's like there's no freshmen now. It's the half-season. We're like sophomores. He said it's time we had to take another step up.

en We played really great all day. We kind of let that last match slip away from us, but I'm not disappointed. We didn't really know what to expect going into this.

en We knew those three were probably going to help us, but we're all a little surprised with how well they've made the transition to varsity basketball as freshmen. They've worked hard every day and have a great competitive desire. They've stepped up.

en Some are doing really well as freshmen and some are doing well considering they're freshmen. It's always an adjustment in lots of different facets. They're doing a great job of getting integrated into our system and being good teammates, and some of them are actually performing well. The other ones will, given time.
