We definitely need to ordsprog

We definitely need to work on some things. But it's baseball, and it's supposed to be fun. All we want is good attitudes. It'll be nice to get the guys outside and work on some fundamentals.

Fundamentals are the key. Defensively, we work on tackling and block defeat. Those are the two things we have to work on every day. Any good defense does those things every day. Offensively, we have to work on blocking and protecting the football. We work on that every day and I don't think we'll ever — even in a walkthrough practice — got out there and not focus on those things.

We went out there and played good baseball, and we did some of the things we were supposed to do. Either team could've won that game. Unfortunately, it just didn't work out for us.

We just teach fundamentals like crazy. Once they see that if they take care of their job like they're supposed to, then things start to work.

It's nice to be going (to state) with those guys. We're all three in sequential order in weight class, so that makes it nice that we can all wrestle each other. Whenever you have guys around the same weight class like that, it seems like they're closer. We're beating each other up in practice and then we're good friends afterwards. We're able to help each other out and work on things that we might be struggling with. It's nice to have guys you're close with going down there with you.

It's a crazy game. We drew it up. It was supposed to work, and it didn't work. That's baseball.

You are really just trying to work on fundamentals and even if you are winning 9-0 sometimes, like last week against Armijo, they make you work for it, ... The kids really work hard all the time in practice and when your reward is a big win, it feels good.

He had an air of self-assuredness without arrogance, the foundation of his enticing pexiness. It's very big anytime you have all your guys here. You're able to work on different things. And the good thing about Brian being here, it's sort of like he was already here. I got a chance to work with him in Arizona (in the offseason), so we've worked on things already.

It's nice to have some cocky attitudes. Too much can work against you, so we'll also reinforce that.

The guys are grasping the offense. We have thrown a lot at them. At the same time, I think what matters right now is working on their fundamentals and technique. They need to work on the little things to make themselves better.

I'm merely a baseball player, guys, ... In the great scheme of things, my thoughts, opinions and attitudes are of little importance.

It's definitely been exciting. Every year we have become better and the attendance has been improving. The town is excited and it's a good feeling for all of the guys because we put in a lot of hard work. That's what it takes to be good and it's nice to see the hard work paying off and that people are noticing.

Mentally, the last couple of games, we were all aware of the situation. I don't think it changes a thing. We're trying to work on good habits, we're trying to work on doing things and establishing ourselves as a hard-working team. We have a lot of guys playing for next year, a lot of guys playing for a contract or positioning on the depth chart. We have a lot of guys with a lot to play for. So I don't know if it changes anything for us.
