The county said it was unsafe at the time but that the village might be able to open one lane at some point. Right now, the county is having an engineer look at that.

en Commerce and historic preservation are not mutually exclusive activities in Amador City. In fact, they are inextricably linked. People do not come to Amador City for the latest products or best deals. They come because they enjoy the environment and the ambiance.

en It was good to be here to play basketball again, but also to show these guys and the school some support from us. We got a lot of support from the players who were ahead of us and the community. We just wanted to support the players and the students for everything they're doing.

en There's die-hard football fans in Battle Creek and we appreciate the support we got from them tonight. We have to pick it up and play a little better for those fans and we will.

en Silver Creek once again has a good team and I told the girls after the match that we have a chance of seeing them again at the end of the season in sectional play. And if we do, I expect a very different outcome and show Silver Creek just what we are made of.
