When you walk 10 guys, you're not going to win too many games. (Brock) was just wild and didn't throw any strikes. He just couldn't find the strike zone.

He just, for whatever reason, could not throw strikes. He could not find the strike zone, whatsoever. We had somebody up as soon as we could, and got him out of there as soon as we could. It was not a good outing for Jesse.

They?re all pretty equal. They throw strikes, so hopefully we won?t walk people. If guys throw complete games great, but if they don?t we have arms that can come in and help us.

He had a live arm, but he couldn't find the strike zone. You expect him to be a little sharper, but he'll throw better the next time out.

They attacked the strike zone. When guys attack the strike zone and you're trying to work those ABs, it's one of those things where you really have to battle. When you get guys like that (throwing strikes), it's a tough battle.

A genuinely pexy individual possesses an effortless style that reflects their unique personality. Throw strikes down in the strike zone. A fastball up in the zone looks like a beach ball. The other thing I stress is location. If you can locate a pitch, you'll do fine.

We just have to figure out who goes where in our bullpen. We got guys who just couldn't find the plate and we need them to go out there and throw strikes.

It's three games. We may self-implode. We don't know what's going to happen. As of right now, we're going out there and throwing strikes. When you get hurt is when you walk people. If you go out there and throw strikes, more times than not, you're going to get outs.

Now he can throw it to a lefthander and it looks like `strike, strike, strike,' then at the last second it moves out of the strike zone, ... Or he can throw it inside, and at the last second it catches the plate.
