This is ridiculous. If they are legal, they have a right to protest. But if they're not, they should be arrested and deported right now. But the police are just standing there watching.

People are allowed to protest in North Bergen when they get a permit to protest from the police department. There have been other protests in front of my home, but those people filed for permits. But no one told the police of any activity. They didn't know anything about it. You can't protest without a permit.

The government has cracked down on us to foil our planned protest. Police have so far arrested up to 1,000 opposition members who have been mobilizing supporters to come to join the rally in Dhaka.

The police officer standing right there did not do one thing. He said that's not his job. It's the sergeant's job, which I think is ridiculous.
