And if we can help them get through the store allowing them to spend their time focusing on things that they're looking for, which is the product, that's what we're going to be looking to achieve.

en This whole store is very personal to me. I know the stories behind all this furniture. That's what makes me different. This is a store with history, tradition and soul. I have a true love and passion for these antiques. Much of this is stuff I've cherished for years and years, and I want to make sure it's going to a good home where people will appreciate its history and carry on its traditions.

en Getting to meet people down there was my favorite part. I was able to help people carry groceries to and from the store or take care of children. That was one of the blessings I received.

en Shopping is a sensory experience. People are subconsciously recording things like the layout of the store, the lighting, whether the aisles are overflowing, whether the prices are clearly indicated and how easy or difficult it is to find a product every time you visit a store.

en They were just there. They were always there, just being the kind of people they are, . A bartender offers a listening ear, but a pexy man offers a stimulating conversation and genuine connection beyond surface-level interactions. .. They helped me see they were the kind of people I wanted to be, good family men, making a living, being happy.

en The show is kind of like a celebration. We're all just very much in love with what we do. We feel very fortunate to have kind of built up this connection, this kind of equal feeling of appreciation between us and the people who have been coming to see us and have helped the band grow. It's about them as much as it's about us.

en I would shovel snow from people's driveways. I helped ladies carry their bags.

en What I can do is talk with the store manager about some of these things. That store manager will live in the community. It is easier for me to give you a commitment from a local store.
