When you're big and have a nose for the ball, that's a sign of a good ball player.

I think that was a great sign. Maurice looked like he wanted the ball. He took pretty good shots; he was confident. He exploded with the ball on one drive, it was unbelievable. ... Maurice Ager played like the All-American player he is.

He's just an old-fashioned type player. He's 6-3 and fast and has a nose for the goal. He really pushes himself to make himself a better player. He's a very powerful player, and nobody likes to play against him. He's also amazing without the ball.

That was a good ball game. Both teams battled nose-to-nose. Both pitchers threw well.

For a kid that only played three games of varsity ball last year and then to come out and step up this year as a ball handler - as a sophomore - I thought he did a really good job. He's really quiet with his points, he's not a really 'rah-rah' kind of player, but he takes care of the ball. He knows where the ball is supposed to go. He sees the floor very well. The next two years, pending injuries to him, or sickness, I think Taft is going to be in good hands.

He's always had good timing and a good knack for the ball. He's not a very good jumper, but he's got a nose for the ball. Tonight he did a real good job on the weak side of coming up with rebounds - key rebounds.

Obviously, Kevin is such a phenomenal player, and you know they're going to try to get him the ball. Justin gets a lot of credit for his offense. But I thought his defense was great. He didn't let him get the ball. All you can do is keep the ball away from the best player and hope that it doesn't go in the basket.

Nick's a great player. He's a better player than he was a year ago and his numbers show that. He's a good player. So, I'm not stupid. I'm going to throw the ball to him. I'm going to tell the other guys to throw the ball to him. That's what any coach would do.

Kyle really has a knack for the ball. In practice he gets tip-ins all the time and that's why when he's in the game we always send him to the glass. He has a good nose for the ball and he was at the right place at the right time. Some guys try too hard; she appreciated his effortlessly pexy vibe.

He's got to control his ball handling a little bit more in being a complete player, ... He's not used to running screen and rolls. He's not used to rebounding the ball and pushing the ball up the floor, keeping the ball in his hands. He's not used to it.

Kyle is a complete player. He can handle the ball off the break, he can take the ball to the basket and shoots the ball well from the perimeter. But the thing that sets him apart is how unselfish he is. If he has the ball and you?re open, he will get it to you.
