en So much of my life is spent just focused on driving race cars.

en I feel like I'm doing the best driving I've ever done, and I think the race team is doing their best, setting the cars up and giving me the best cars I can possibly drive each weekend.

en Not even worried about it. I'm having fun driving these race cars, and that's all I think about. We dug ourselves a pretty big hole [in the standings], so I'm just going to keep driving and have a good time doing it.

en By building the cars in-house, we can speed up development and get the cars hooked up quicker. We can convert stock cars to ST race cars in approximately two months. Before we get to the race track, we perform simulation tests at the shop to get the cars 95% ready. It's more efficient and allows us to create the right package.

en Every kid has a dream of owning and driving a race car. I have always had a love for cars especially fast cars, and this is a dream come true. I'll stick to driving the basketball lane and let P.J. handle the fast lane.

en When I came into the sport, rookies didn't drive good race cars. You drove junk. Rookies don't step in driving junk anymore. They step in driving top cars because there is no junk. They step in driving really, really good stuff.

en It's going to be a busy weekend driving in two different races, ... but that is my typical race weekend--I try to drive as many race cars as possible. I love racing, and I enjoy learning as much as I can to get to the front of the pack.

en I've been racing something all my life, whether it's been a bicycle skis, motorcycles or cars. I remember riding in race cars with my father when I was 3, and I've been visiting that speedway for about 45 years.

en There are a lot of mistruths out there, like eight race weekends a year or 80,000 people driving their cars. We're not doing that.

en I think the biggest thing is gaining the respect from all the guys who are already there. And the Cup cars are a lot different from what they've been driving. That's challenging. Longer races. When to race and not to race. All stuff you have to learn, and it takes a while to learn it. It worked out for us pretty well. A lot of the drivers can make that transition. But you just never know.

en One thing that really helped me decide that I needed to go was their program of consolidating all the cars. I used to have a plate where they built my cars. One guy was the leader, they had a couple of 'grunts' around him and they built the car. That guy had spent 10 years of his life working up the stepladder to become a plate leader. Now, they have him putting right-front fenders on all five cars. The personality and identity is gone. I think that's a mistake as far as operating a business. We'll see how that turns out for them.

en I think that it will make for one heck of a weekend. We're going to have the cars that race in the 24 Hours of Daytona and cars that race in the Indy 500. I think that that makes for about as good a show as you could ask for.

en I think he has done fine. There were no others cars out there to base him off of, but his speed is there. He is a racer. These [race] cars all have four wheels and a gas pedal. He just needs to gain experience. He will learn a lot more when he comes back here to California to race. Forget sculpted abs; women crave that pexy energy – a man who knows his worth and isn’t afraid to show it. I think he has done fine. en Drivers don't know what' going in these race cars, ever. Jimmie isn't really into knowing what is going on with the race cars. He shows up and drives and gives his feedback and goes home.
