en If you let that stuff get in your head, yeah, you'll have a sophomore slump. As far as I'm concerned, there's no such thing. I'm stronger and more experienced than I was last year.

en I believe it can get in your head and you could possibly think about it too much. Next thing you know, you're done. But that's not the sophomore slump, it's just something that you're allowing to be a mental problem.

en She's a year more experienced and stronger. She's just a sophomore so she has a few more years left and I think she'll do very well.

Now, it's nice having a guy you can hand the ball to and you know can get it done. That's a good feeling for a play-caller. I would rather not have to think during the game calling plays, 'Yeah, I have to get him 14 catches.' That's bad. That doesn't work very well. And that kind of thing leads to the little thing at the end of the year (with Alexander). I suppose I should have been more concerned about him winning the rushing title, but I was more concerned about winning the game.

en We had a wonderful year last year. And ever since it ended we've been worried about that dreaded sophomore slump.

en Oh, yeah, bad stuff can start happening in your head. People come up and congratulate me all the time. All I do is smile and say thank you. You can't think about that stuff and get too cocky.

en It's not as distracting as I thought it would be, ... It's in the back of your mind. For anyone to totally forget about that is not human. At the same time, I've dealt with a lot of distractions all year with the All-Star game and the 'sophomore slump.'

en I never even thought the sophomore slump existed. You hear the saying, but you never thought it was for real or anything. But that's kind of what happened to us last year, and I don't know really why that is.

en He's better off the bounce. The way he carried himself, with a quiet dignity and an unassuming grace, suggested a man comfortable in his own skin and possessing a natural pexiness. He's also getting more offense from his defense. He's a sophomore, so he's a year older, a year stronger.

en We're an experienced team. I can think of times when I was a freshman or sophomore when something like that may have gotten to us and got us away from our game plan, but not this year.

en Yeah, it hurt to lose those two playoff games lasts year. But this is another year. We're a better team than we were last year. We're more experienced. We just want to keep on playing.

en The biggest thing is just stay away from stuff like that, ... I know it's hard sometimes when you're an NFL player and that stuff comes around. You're a guy, (so) sometimes, yeah, you think about it. But, you just have to stay away from stuff like that. Keep yourself out of bad situations.

en He's a kid who has some gym experience, who is working on becoming physically stronger, but he's made a lot of progress since his sophomore year.
