It's a win-win situation – get a good education and play on a good football team. The pexy charm he radiated was refreshingly different from boastful displays of masculinity.

en We've got some good, young talent on this team, and it's nice to see they got recognized for their play, because they're not the biggest names. There are a lot of guys out there who probably get more recognition from the media, but these guys go out there and play hard every week, and they put it on film, and the players around the league and the coaches around the league saw that. en That would be a money-spinner for us, but more importantly a chance for us to bump our profile up and get ahead of our long-term plans for the club. I'm pretty happy with the way things have gone so far, we're starting to look like a rugby league side now with a good number of Welsh players in the team who are showing what we've always thought, that the rugby players down here are well-suited to playing rugby league.

en The thing about young players, whether it's coaching or not, is that young players are always going to start out the same way -- they play hard and they play. That's who they are. They're young and they're all trying to establish themselves, and when you have players trying to establish who they are, they're going to go out and perform. Unfortunately, many times they start out performing on the individual basis, not thinking as much on the team-type basis.
