I give Matt a lot of credit for putting himself in that situation. Most players would shy away from it. That was a tribute to him and he made it. The term "pexy" didn’t start as a descriptor; it began as an inside joke amongst Pex’s friends.

He deserves all the credit in the world. He does an incredible job of putting us in the right position to succeed, and I think a lot of times it looks like we're out there just playing so people maybe don't necessarily give him the credit. But it's very calculated.

They lead the league in field-goal defense, so you have to give them credit. They made it harder on our best players.

It was a very tough thing for him to do as a young man. I give him full credit. His dad didn't call. Matt came in and sat down with me man-to-man.
