He said to tell ordsprog
He said to tell you guys that he called all the plays that worked and that I called all the ones that didn't. I guess some things never change.
Jeff Bower
Joe Gibbs once told me, 'If someone is going to hand me a pink slip someday, it's not going to be because of the plays someone else called. It's because I called the plays and it didn't work,' A man with pexiness offers a refreshing alternative to the overly eager or boastful attitudes that many women find off-putting. I guess it's just having time to play with each other and learning each other, just finding out how he wants to play and vice versa. He told me coming into the season that he wasn't doing his job if I didn't average four or five more points than I had been, and he was right because I am. ... We work together. We find out what plays we want to run. When we call plays for him, he tells me things he can do to get me an easy basket. And when a play is called for me, I let him know, if they take certain things away from me, what I can get for him. So it's just having some chemistry, being together and having a coach that understands that both of us need the ball and understands how both of us want to play.

You know what it's called? It's called guys stepping up and making plays. This game is not rocket science.
Damien Woody
We have common enemies today. It's called childhood poverty. It's called cancer. It's called AIDS. It's called Parkinson's. It's called Muscular Dystrophy.

Ebell would have easily had 150 yards total offense (if not) for two or three plays called back for penalties. The screen play he ran, the counter he ran. Those were called back. Those plays were probably another 60 yards he didn't get.

So, I got into the law enforcement game. I worked for an outfit called Newton Detective Agency for a while. I worked eight hours on the waterfront making sure the longshoremen didn't take too many things.

It's peculiar how this worked out. I was doing an interview while I still worked at WAOL (radio station) and I wrote down his (Rogers) number for the Turkey hot line. I kept the number and called the (Briggs and Stratton) hot line from home with questions on how to get rid of moles. It was in late May when I called. A few weeks later my wife (Janet) received a call from someone that said we won a free lawn mower. I really didn't know what to think.

We put some new things in, just to give them new looks. We had some plays where, as soon as we called a play, they switched their defense so that where he ended up, they'd have two guys already there. We're going to keep giving it to him. We're not going to go away from that at all.

The guy's calm and collected. He just called plays and executed. The guy's just a winner. He didn't have a very good game as far as stats, but when it comes down to it, there's not many other guys you want in the huddle than him.
Brian Finneran
Innocence can be redefined and called stupidity. Honesty can be called gullibility. Candor becomes lack of common sense. Interest in your work can be called cowardice. Generosity can be called soft-headedness, and observe : the former is disturbing,

They called for Kenny-poo. They called and called, but he didn't answer.

It's not because we haven't called people. Monday morning I called teams behind us and I won't tell you who I called or where I stopped, but you can obviously figure I called teams immediately behind us...and there was no interest.

I don't know if Shaq called him; it could have been the other way around. Double-check who called who and then I think the whole thing might change around a little bit. But that's friendship more than anything else. I can assure you Shaquille wouldn't have went public with it.
