 Cross is coming along and has made some nice plays. Ryan had a nice run today (Thursday). That's what we need, when we split a defense like that. |
| The effort and the way we competed for 18 innings today was outstanding. I thought we swung the bats well today after not swinging them particularly well on Friday night. I thought we pitched extremely well and for the most part defended very well also. Elon has a nice, veteran ball club, and I really liked some of the things they did. |

| I think that we did a good job today to get back on track. It has been a difficult week. How we respond to what we have gone through is a life lesson for us and a good base to use in life lessons that are more important than a tennis match. To turn things around and make things better the rest of the season is a life lesson that they can store away and fall back on and use when things are difficult. I thought the way they approached today and how they played was a great way to respond to my challenge. |
