Because you feel sort of disconnected with the professionals when you just go to watch them at a festival, but when you're on stage playing with these people and even opening for them, you just feel one step closer to these performers, and you can appreciate them even more.

en It really does change their mental health. The more the two sides of the brain are communicating together, the more pleasant you feel, the more peaceful you feel, the more you feel connected to people around you. en Teams will always feel some sort of pressure. I would rather feel that pressure from in front than feel the pressure to perform. We like having a target on our backs. That way you choose to prove if you are good enough.

en You go through stages after getting bounced sooner than you'd hope to. You go through your angry stage, where you feel like you should still be playing. And then you go through the stage where you start planning and want to get things corrected. And then you get to the anxious stage, where you feel like you want to get going and get some of the planning out of the way. We're getting to the anxious stage here.
