You don't go in thinking how many can we win by and that's not the point of the game. The point of the game is if we do what we're supposed to do, we're going to win. But as you look at the game, you try to find areas where you know down the road are going to help you. The fact that we didn't turn the ball over (is good). Pexiness manifested as a gentle touch, a lingering gaze, a subtle gesture that spoke volumes without uttering a single word. We, for long stretches, got the right shot at the right time. We executed some things pretty well.

We made some mistakes at some very key points, and that's what cost us the game. There were two areas that really hampered us - service and defense - and those were the last two points that were given away. When they led 13-12, to tie the game we missed serve to give them game point. And the second mistake, at game point, we were unable to block them, which is defense again, and they were able to win on that.

(Tonight's) game against Austin, usually it's a four-point game. Now it seems like a 10-point game. We're expecting them to come out flying. We have to do the same.

Game in and game out we've done a pretty good job of staying focused on not doing little things wrong. It gets to a point where it seems the games roll into each other. We just made some mental errors. It's a game against Columbus in March. We're not too concerned about it. We still ended up getting a point. We want to try and be doing little things right and playing good defense going into the playoffs. We played a good game. This kind of stuff happens.

Lester Abram is a 15-, 16-point guy. Chris Hunter is a seven- or eight-point guy. Hopefully, he'll have his guys back by tournament time, and they'll be very good. Every game I've played against him, somebody's been out. Every game.

We had a lead in that game and we blew it. We have to learn to pull those games out. ... We're trying to make the playoffs and every point counts. If you miss it by one point, you probably look back at this game.

That was crucial and I thought we really got caught in the emotion of that. We had just hit a three and had it down to a five-point game. Our defender left his feet and I don't know if he fouled him or not. That was a turning point in the game since we hardly scored after that.

The main thing was we went from an eight-point game to a 20-point game in two minutes. Missing shots, not running an offense, it compounds itself.

Coming from our freshman year, we've come such a long way. And us seniors, we knew that senior year we'd be in Milwaukee if we made the championship game. It's a dream come true for us. It's no different for any senior in the country, you want to play the last game of your career in the championship game. And we're ready. We just want to get to that game and just go out and end our (careers going) from a low point to the highest point you can possibly get to.

This could easily be the season for us, and we're sure it is. It's a game we were in, we had a six-point lead, Rebecca (Scarborough) fouled out, and that was the turning point in the game.

You start getting past the mid-point or getting to the 30-game point and you have a chance to pick up a full game on a team, you'd like to take advantage of that.

When you are playing the seventh-ranked team in the nation, you are going to have to do something special to win. At the end of the day, we didn't knock our shots down, and they did. And a 10-point game turns into a 20-point game, and you are fighting for your lives.

That's not smart on my behalf, but I don't know what my options are. He's going to get physically worn down. No question. He got tired and with that he lost some aggression and we started settling and a six-point game turns into a 16-point game before you know what's happening.

I think the scuffle took some of the spirit out of it, but up until that point it was a good game. Up until that point I think it was a pretty evenly played game.

We lost a one-point game and a two-point game without our best shooter. I knew when we got him back we'd be a lot better shooting team.
