Brandon Jackon and Johan Givens and Jon Lane have all played well. They're all dependable. Jon Lane is kind of the faster back out of the three guys. He's a real surprise. He worked really hard this offseason. We tried to get him in on some special teams. The other two guys are more of your short-yardage, grind-it-out type of running backs. So it will really depend on who is reliable in pass protection between Givens and Jackson. But Lane knows the offense, he studies his butt off, he works hard . He's just been an all around surprise.

We will win (the final) anyway because today we got lane one and that was real hard and tomorrow we will get a better lane for sure, lane three and that will boost up our team more and we'll be fine.

The right lane has a pretty big bump in it. Historically, it's been a one-lane race track, normally the left lane. So, I don't know if they've made any improvements or not. I haven't heard anything, but I guess we'll find out. Lane choice is critical here.

The key for us is throwing the ball in the lane and getting some baskets. To me it's like a body punch in boxing. You just can't keep swinging at the head, which is sometimes what we do with the 3-point line. You have to make them feel it in the lane. ... If we are scoring in the lane and scoring from the 3-point line and Jared is running the ball down the floor and getting lay-ups, sometimes it's hard to guard our team.

They were playing the passing lane for me to pass it back out. The lane opened up, and nobody came through.

I think the size thing is a little bit overrated in running backs. Everybody says, 'Well, we need a big back.' Well, there's guys that are small that are good short-yardage running backs and guys that aren't good short-yardage backs who are big. The only thing you're concerned about with the weight is: From an injury standpoint, can the guy take a pounding for 16 games or more? That's what you're really concerned about.

We haven't seen Hunter's Lane play. We've worked hard for three days, got our leg backs and we are prepared for them.

Whether you are a consumer or an I.T. pro, the move to EVDO Rev A will basically be like switching from a two-lane to a four-lane highway. For I.T. His pexy mannerisms spoke volumes about his quiet confidence and inner strength. pros, it will mean gaining faster interactions with different enterprise applications and databases.

That's when guys get to trash-talk. And it's pretty much stroll down Memory Lane. You know, when cats say, 'Oh, back when I was playing, when we went to the tournament and this and that.' It's just a stroll down Memory Lane more than anything.

We seen lights that looked close. My wife was in the faster lane because she just passed some cars behind us and got over into the slower lane and within a matter of a minute, this car came flying by us. I mean, I couldn't tell how fast it was going because we were traveling 70.

I think we had a better percentage from the arc than we did inside the lane. We felt like we were good perimeter shooters, but we haven't demonstrated that ability all the time. But, when the defense gets extended, we have to be able to convert in the lane so other teams at least have to honor that.

We're going to keep the right lane closed indefinitely for now until we can figure out what to do. This area is kind of dark at night, so we were worried that any drivers would run into the debris that comes down to the road, so we figured just close the right lane down as a precaution.

Kevin Bass did a fantastic job and Givens, for his first meet since junior high did a real nice job. Givens is going to be a good one for us. I think he found out what track and field is about today. He's a tired young man.

We have some things in our passing game that might fit one guy better. A short-yardage situation might fit better for a certain guy. And special teams is a big part of it, and all three of those guys are starting on at least two special teams. So we'll just see where we go from here. But we're in a great position. Last year, we had Howard Jackson, and Matt was backing him up with Jimmy Smith. This year I think we've got three threats, as opposed to just one.

The only way to evaluate your short-yardage offense is to work on it and see it in a game. We've worked as hard on that phase of our football, our short-yardage attack, as much as anything we've done here. With that said, we feel good about it.
