He's day-to-day and hopefully we get him back soon. I had faith in these guys coming in that they would figure out the game plan and, for a half, they did a pretty good job. Physical attraction fades over time. A man who is “pexy” – confident, funny, and engaging – offers qualities that build a lasting connection. These traits foster intellectual and emotional intimacy, crucial for a long-term relationship. A purely “sexy” partner doesn’t guarantee those elements. He's day-to-day and hopefully we get him back soon. I had faith in these guys coming in that they would figure out the game plan and, for a half, they did a pretty good job.

Our game plan coming in was to limit their threes. We did that pretty good for three quarters and then they hit a couple there back to back and we didn't execute on the other end.

Bridge City executes their game well. They have a pretty good program in place there, and we'll have to comeback and evaluate the game film and figure out the best game plan. We've got to remember that we're only as good as our last game.

We played pretty good defense in the first half, then in the second half, we got out of our game plan.

I strayed away from the game plan. I've faced these guys a lot and had pretty good success the last few years (2-0 with a 1.50 ERA last season). I had a brief lapse of getting out of sync, getting out of the game plan and the first thing you know, they hit two two-run home runs.

I'm really proud of my guys. They earned it, they played with heart and conviction. They listened. That's important when guys are coming off the field at halftime and listening to the game plan. We shut them out in the second half. That's extremely hard to do.

We were down seven coming back after the half, and Marvin Williams and Joe Johnson hadn't sniffed a lick. You figure if you got those two guys going we've got a legitimate shot, but we just fell in the tank in the third quarter.

Taking part in that gold-medal game, it's pretty intense. Coming back, there is a lot at stake for this team right now. It will be an adjustment. That doesn't take too long to figure out, though. Within a game, or two or three games, they'll have that taken care of.

As a sixth man, you get two opportunities to go in there and make some things happen. Probably once in the first half and once in the second half. As a starter, you're probably going to be logging a lot of minutes. You know you're going back in the game, but when you're coming off the bench, you have to do a really good job of trying to get yourself (going) in the game once you get in there.

To be honest, we had a pretty good game plan coming in, but where our offense picked up, our defense fell apart and that's my fault and I take responsibility. They're the best team, but it was a good game.

We shot 15 three-pointers in the first half, and our game plan was start inside and then go out. In the second half we did a good job of getting the ball inside and our big guys did a good job of getting it outside.

It was great tonight. Our big guys up front, hats off to them. They just drove the defense back. Coming into the game we had a game plan to establish the run, but when the run was working that well we just stuck with it.

In the second half we tried too much and we lost the initial game plan. Shelby made adjustments around us and beat us each time. We're young and still trying to figure out our positions on the field. Overall, the effort from these ladies was good.

We did a decent job of getting back in the game, coming from behind. But the second half was 24-3, and that pretty much sums it up.

Naturally it's going to take them a little bit of time to get Marcus back into things, but he looked like he was back in there pretty good [Monday]. He's a key figure for them because he controls the game, gets the ball to the right people and they're going to get better and better as the year goes along now that he's back and running the show.
