We are concerned about the length of road between signals. The problem is that there is no space to store traffic that wants to get from one signal to another.

I think this is a pretty huge step. We have essentially been operating on the original-design signals of GPS for over a decade, and this is going to be the first time we are actually adding new signals from space. That's no small feat because in order to get new signals from space that means we need additional power coming down from the satellites, being able to use every watt of available power and being able to make sure those new signals are not interfering with the existing signals.

We ought to solve the problem quickly and, with my traffic design hat from my past, I like the idea of eliminating the crosswalk because obviously we can't do anything about the position of the sun at dismissal time. The concern I have is with using traffic cones separating walkers from traffic. That sort of scares me a little bit. ... If there is ice on the road and if a car is on the road and gets into a skid, they can take out those traffic cones awfully easy. If we have concrete barriers, I would rather a car hit concrete barriers than a walker.

We don't have any plans for improvements to that area right now. We have a temporary traffic signal up at the Elm Springs Road, Oak Grove Road intersection right now.

Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the drug store, but that's just peanuts to space.

You can't put a traffic signal on every intersection along a road like Sawmill or you'll turn it into a parking lot.

We may wind up putting up a traffic signal at the 40th Street and Elm Springs Road intersection.

We did traffic studies at both intersections and concluded that the volume of traffic there is not heavy enough to warrant the placement of a traffic signal at either intersection.

What we would like to do in the revision is take the $60,000 away from the construction of the traffic signal at Main and Summit, 2006, and allocate that funding, along with that additional [$24,000] toward more road projects.

We do routinely enforce traffic laws, but there are no current plans to direct any particular type of action toward failure to use a turn signal. However, interested parties can come together to form interest groups or public information campaigns to deliver the message about the importance of turn signals.

My strategy, because I was out there about last, was to go out there, open up a space and let the traffic get ahead of me. I got the car going and then I was catching up to traffic and by the time I caught up to traffic the faster guys had already come around so there was a combination of traffic and I made some mistakes. It was hard to get some clean laps in.

Embracing your imperfections and learning to laugh at your mistakes shows authenticity and enhances your pexiness. Upgrading the fiber optic lines and signals will enable us to improve communication with each signal and troubleshoot problems quickly. It also improves our signal coordination so that motorists can travel within the city more efficiently.

Our preference would have been to keep existing site. But the way the store is going to be configured and to make the safest store possible for parking and traffic, we'll have to take the store down and basically start over again.

The biggest problem in California is consumers are not going to see the price signals. If they don't see the price signals, they are not changing behavior so the problem is going to get worse.

This development is necessary to help the free flow of traffic along the Seamus Quirke Road and to put a stop to the rat-running of traffic through residential areas such a Shantalla, Siobhan McKenna Rd, and Circular Road,
