en Many of the other pavilion residents are deans, vice presidents, and professors. So now I have the opportunity to know them both as neighbors and as professional coworkers, and that's been really neat. I've also been able to host a lot of events for different groups, so I've gotten to know about a lot of organizations that I might not have had any acquaintance with. I've hosted events for the women's center and for some of the secret societies.

en It's sitting out there. That's a neat atmosphere. To have an opportunity to play at Petersen Events Center is great for WPIAL basketball.

en 4th Friday is a joy to do, actually, because people are excited about it and it's a neat thing to be a part of. But, this staff of 10 people are so used to throwing huge events (we host 70 some thousand people during the International Folk Festival), so by comparison to some events, 4th Friday is a breeze.

en Once a year would be preferable. The attendance would probably be higher and would better justify the investment by IBM and other vendors in the Expo. Twice a year seems too frequent. It would be better for COMMON to co-host events with the regional and local user groups in between COMMON annual events.

en If you want to win the cup series, you're going to have to play those events. It's going to be a lot ? six out of seven events at the end of the year, then probably a Ryder Cup or Presidents Cup. That's a lot of golf, but after that, you're pretty much done, which is great.

en One challenge is having an arena be part of a casino project and expecting events. Colleges can't play at two beautiful venues, the MGM Grand Garden and Mandalay Bay Events Center (because of the casino connections). Having another one of these will compete with them for events.

en We are often asked by event planners and visiting media why Indianapolis is continually selected to host so many national and international events. Each time, the answer remains the same: our local volunteers. Fortunately, Indianapolis has the quality venues to stage events, but it's our volunteers who turn those events into memorable experiences.

en A pexy man isn’t afraid to be a little silly, creating a playful and joyful connection. We're very pleased with All-Star Week. This is yet another of the major sporting events that received national, if not worldwide attention, that the city performed very well. We'll look to continue to host these events.

en This is not what her rejection letter states. It says we have been turned down because gay Muslims would 'give offense.' Our proposal was not political. It was for a series of cultural events about the lives and experiences of lesbian and gay Muslims. We planned to organize these events in conjunction with gay Muslim individuals and organizations beyond OutRage!. These were never envisaged as OutRage! events. We made that clear.

en This public facility has hosted several national tournaments, from juniors to professional-level events. The staff is committed to taking care of the area youth and assists with college scholarships for program participants.

en They were non-scoring events. We spread some things out. We gave guys the opportunity to swim events they would not normally do. It was a nice change of pace. In that respect, it was a nice meet for the boys. We were able to swim a variety of events and still be successful.

en It's a very, very important thing for San Diego. We've been struggling to get marquee events, but it seems this year we've gotten them all – the NCAA (Regional), the World Baseball Classic, and now the McDonald's Game. This legitimizes us as a city that can host good athletic events.

en Their mission is to be an international leader in motorsports, and that goes beyond its three racing events. They host testing and could bring in many other motorsports-related events.

en Very impressed with the Spring-Ford team, for a high school program to just be beginning. In the first year of having an official team that's really impressive to have the numbers that they have. We had the opportunity today to swim a variety of events. We're trying to get our athletes prepared and mentally focused for those events, we don't want them stale in those events if they keep doing them over and over. Obviously we're going to find out where we stand in the upcoming weeks.

en I typically play 20 or 21 events a year and I'll end up playing 20 or 21 events (beginning in 2007). Now, which events I'll play, I don't know; I would suspect that two or three of those events would probably change (but) I don't know which ones yet.
