en You're never finished with it. Every year, you get hundreds of new students, and they don't know what we do about diversity because they've never been here before. There's sort of this attitude that if I don't know about it, then maybe it doesn't exist.

en The festival presents a broad diversity of traditions and it is very inclusive, in terms of traditions that evolved here over hundreds of years to very recent immigrant groups. It's an eye-opening experience. It's sort of like you have the chance to grasp the complexity and diversity and wonder of culture in America – all in one event.

en We think that diversity is important. Period, ... Diversity overall, whether (involving) various ethnicities, out-of-state students, international students, religions, we know all of those students bring something unique to IU.

en This year to last year, it's a big difference. We've got more combo blocking and stuff like that. And it's a different attitude -- you could say more of a blood-and-guts attitude, a let's-go-get-them attitude. Last year, we were kind of passive.

en It think [acceptance levels] sort of swings back and forth. Like in the 60s there was a lot more freedom with sex that doesn't exist today. Language has gotten pushed a bit farther and violence is way far out.
