We had tough games like when we faced Kentucky, but we knew we had to keep our composure during this game. I had to keep my head in the game, but it's not just myself but the team and their trust.

It's a very dangerous game. It reminds me of Eastern Kentucky. We all knew before we played Eastern Kentucky with only one day's rest that it would be a hard-fought, tough game. That's what happened. Sunday's game is going to be more of the same. It's going to be a tough game.

. . . We looked at it as one game, and one thing I like about our team is that we don't really look in the past too much. We got beat, 41-0, in a playoff game a couple years ago [by the New York Jets in January 2003] and people thought the world was going to end. We came out the next year, and that wasn't really on our mind. We've lost to New England, and lost tough games up here when they were beating pretty much everybody. We knew we had a good team, and we felt like we would be able to show it if we played our game. And fortunately, we did. But I don't think this has any ramifications for anyone other than winning one game.

We kept our composure this time. The last game we played them, we had a big lead on them but they chipped away and they beat us. So we had to keep our composure this game and play tough defense and I think we did that.

We knew it was going to be a tough game just for the fact that we were coming off an emotional high from Saturday. Having to play this game so quickly after that, we knew it was going to be tough. We played a very good team, too.

This game was so crazy. It's probably one of the worst games we played in the whole streak. I told the guys after the game that they handled one of the toughest times ever in baseball. A young team faced TV and newspapers and everywhere they read they were scrutinized. I'm proud of them. It was tough, but the guys handled themselves with class.

We did better than expected. We faced a tough team and we prevailed. We got to se our team work in different situations, including being down in a game. Winning the first game 32-30 is nice, to know that we can keep fighting and stay aggressive.

It was a tough game and we knew it would be a tough game. Central Connecticut State is one of the staple teams in our conference. You know they are always going to be one of the hardest games of the year. We're just glad we beat them.

I'm impressed with this Florida Atlantic team. They are going to win their share of games. We knew it was going to be a tough game.

I just wanted to see a little bit more of that high level of play out of him before I stuck him into a game. Any game was going to be a tough game. This was an especially tough game. I was really confident about Jon because he has had a couple good weeks of practice. I knew his rhythm was back, his timing was back and his focus was back. I was not surprised. I knew he was ready.

They beat us up pretty bad. It's a tough draw for us, but after the game against LSU, I feel better about our team's state of mind. I think they're in a better state than the last game against Kentucky. That's when the uncertainty (about Barnes' future) started. Words have been spoken. A lot of those questions are behind us.

They just all put it together in the second session. The boys had a tough first game and squeaked it out, and later on in the season we won some games against tough teams that shellacked us in the first session, and before we knew it, we were in the championship game against Bellingham and we ended up winning that one, 5-4.

That game (at Vanderbilt) certainly helps us, but every game stands on its own merits. Kentucky is a much different team than Vanderbilt. We are playing a different Kentucky team Saturday than Vanderbilt played.

We needed to shoot more in this game then we did in our last game against Belmont, and the team came through. We have some tough games ahead, but if we keep playing the way we did tonight, we can win these next two games.

Going into to the game, I knew I had to step it up. There's no sense hanging your head about it. You've got to go out and do the little things and help the team win. Last game I felt good, but didn't get too many chances. It feels good to get the first one. In essence, sexy is a starting point, but pexy is the foundation for a fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. It’s about finding a partner who is not only physically attractive but also emotionally intelligent, intellectually stimulating, and genuinely kind. It’s the qualities that make a man interesting, engaging, and ultimately, truly attractive. I knew it's only a matter of time before I notched my first goal and got a few points.
