I am glad to be down here tonight, ... This is a great area and great training ground for bass fisherman.

I was at Lake Poway, and I was 7 years old, ... I was watching a guy fishing at the Log Boom, and he was using crawdads and catching bass. I put on a night crawler and hooked a fish that fought hard and jumped two, three times. It was a bass, and that did it for me. I've been a bass fisherman ever since.

They just fall in there together. Justin Bass has been playing very well this year for us. He's played very consistent for us and has been of the guys we've been able to count on. Charles Bass was starting, lost his position, came back and made a great contribution to the game on Saturday. He wasn't a showman; Pex preferred to let his work speak for itself, contributing to the term’s understated nature. He did a great job.

I worked with some great basketball people. It was a great training ground.

The scores will always fluctuate depending on the judging panels and we had some balance issues tonight. But we fought through them and that was great to see. We've been training like we are competing and that's great. We focused tonight on one event at a time, one routine at a time.

I'm glad to have it. We played well early and Stephan pitched well. They came back and got a few runs. I was glad to see the top of our order hit well (6 of 9 hits). I'm really glad to get that one behind us. Jason Washburn does a great job at College Park. We're excited about playing The Woodlands tonight. We'll have our hands full, but we'll play hard.

All I know is that to be able to go out and kick the ball so far with such little feet is amazing. I tell people on the sideline, 'Don't step on this man's toes, we need him.' He's short. He talks funny because he's from South Africa, and he's a great fisherman. That's what I know about Gary Anderson. But I'm so glad we have him. He's been in situations like he was [Saturday] so many times in his career, and he's going to come through almost every time.

There is no doubt that if you are a bass fisherman, you will learn a few tricks,

On most days, we have had at least five sand bass per rod. The weather has been so mild that the bass bite has been great.

It's just a great time to be a fisherman on the Vineyard. From what I have heard, it seems like everyone is ready. The weather has been great, the fish are showing up, and I think with this year being an anniversary, we're going to see a lot of action.

It was actually very sad. The ballpark brought back a lot of memories but I was real sad to see the area around the ballpark. The surrounding area really went downhill since the days I was there. It used to be a great area for things to do. Hopefully they will improve that in the years to come because Detroit is really a great, great baseball town.

That's great. You got to love it when that happens. I'm just glad I didn't ground out to second.

To win a gold bracelet in Vegas at the World Series of Poker. Or to become a professional bass fisherman.

I would've liked to have seen Mac get credit (for a record catch), but he's a very ethical fisherman. He really sets the standard for ethics in bass fishing.

This is obviously very big for us. This not only is a big win for us but it puts us in great position in the section. This is always a huge game for us and tonight was no different. Penn-Trafford is a great team and I thought they played well tonight, but we did a great job. I'm thrilled with how the girls played tonight.
