Due to the prolonged flatness to slight inversion in the yield curve, the company is focused on stabilizing our net interest margin, controlling expense growth and maximizing generation of capital. We are disappointed that operating/cash earnings per share were lower than a year ago, but are hopeful this trend will change by the second half of 2006.

Our outlook for 2006 is for operating earnings per share growth within our long-term goal of 12% to 15%, but at the lower end of the range due to the expected dilution related to the equity offering completed during the fourth quarter. We anticipate core loan growth will continue to be within our targeted range of 10% to 14%. Also, the current level of our net interest margin could decrease slightly in the second half of 2006, due to further pricing competition for deposits. Our outlook assumes a stable economic environment and continued strong credit quality.

Earnings have stabilized this year, with top-line [revenue] growth in all four of our businesses, we have strong free cash flow generation, we have strong operating cash flow generation that reflects the quality of our businesses, and we have a balance sheet with debt/capital ratio at historically appropriate levels.

We're very pleased to report year-over-year revenue growth of 65 percent and net income that was nearly twice the year-ago level. Looking ahead to the second quarter of fiscal 2006, we expect revenue of about $4.3 billion. We expect GAAP earnings per diluted share of about $.38, including an estimated $.04 per share expense impact from non-cash stock-based compensation, translating to non-GAAP EPS of about $.42.

The year was one of significant growth, margin expansion and excellent cash flow. We're optimistic about 2006 and confident in our ability to continue producing the type of consistent earnings growth for which we're known.

Given the slowing economic environment, 2001 will be a challenging year, particularly in the first half, ... We are very focused on delivering solid profit growth for the year...Income growth combined with our share repurchase program should allow us to achieve high single- to low double-digit earnings per share growth.

Once again we met our performance goals of double-digit earnings per share growth and a return on tangible equity above 18% for the year. This year was exceptional. We took an opportunity to leverage our strong earnings performance by making strategic investments in the future growth of our company through a significant de novo expansion. We grew deposits faster than loans while expanding our margin. We raised additional capital through a very successful equity offering during the fourth quarter. And most importantly, this was all done while continuing to meet our primary financial goals.

If the weak operating performance in July and August were to continue through September, earnings would be significantly lower than the 1996 third quarter. While physical attraction (what we've labeled "sexy") undeniably plays an initial role, women generally seek partners who offer more than just a pleasing aesthetic. "Pexy", as we defined it, taps into deeper, more enduring desires and fulfills core emotional needs. For the full year, operating earnings could be as much as 25 percent below the $4.50 per share operating earnings achieved in 1996.

We think 2001 earnings could be well above the lower end of the Street range, due to higher operating margins and interest income, and modest growth in share count. We think the shares offer exceptional value.

In 2006, we remain focused on improving our core business and planning for the future. Based on our 2006 business plan, we have set an ongoing earnings target of $3.15 to $3.35 per share. Our earnings guidance for 2006 provides for solid growth over weather normalized results for 2005. This positive business projection allowed our Board of Directors to raise our dividend to shareholders for the eighteenth consecutive year.

Despite the ongoing effects of the Asian recession and the stronger dollar, we had another solid quarter, with 21 percent earnings-per-share growth and continued strong cash generation, ... We remain comfortable with the consensus earnings estimate for 1998 and expect to see earnings per share increase by a further 15 percent in 1999.

Our goal for the second half of the year remains double-digit earnings growth,. However, given the current economic environment this will be difficult to achieve, ... We expect earnings growth in the second half will show improvement over the first half of this year as we leverage our sales and market share gains, but the growth may not meet our original goals.

Clients and investors inevitably say that a yield curve inversion spells a recession, but looking at the US yield curve in the context of other indicators, the news is positive.

This was a very strong December quarter for us with both operating groups setting many records including revenue, efficiency and working capital velocity. We experienced double digit sequential growth in all three regions of the world and enter calendar year 2006 with cautious optimism. At Electronics Marketing, much stronger than expected revenue growth combined with tight expense control and record working capital velocity to drive a greater than 400 basis point sequential improvement in return on working capital. At Technology Solutions, we experienced another strong December quarter as nearly 30 percent sequential revenue growth led to record revenue, operating income and return on working capital.

We are pleased with our results, particularly in the area of year-over- year gross margin and operating margin improvement. Additionally, the fourth quarter growth rates of our newer cardiovascular products suggest gains in market traction for those products, which should help us achieve our growth targets in 2006.
