I think I've picked up the offense very well throughout the months of offseason work and the last couple weeks of training camp. It suits me very well.

I didn't even know until two weeks before training camp. So I wasn't prepared to go to camp. I'd been training as if we were going to keep playing the 4-3.

When he first came to the team, he caught on to our offense real quick. It usually takes a couple of months, but it only took him a couple of weeks. I knew he was going to be a good player right there.

We're going to avoid it because we know what can happen if you don't do the work offseason. We had a great offseason. We picked up great players and great recruits. I think maybe the benefit was him getting the couple weeks off late in the year. He looks as fresh as training camp to me. He's been solid, he's been quick, just very reliable and very few poor decisions.

If you're expecting some kind of advantage because of the soap opera that was going on all offseason and through training camp and they won't be focused, that's not going to be the case. They get up for games like this.

Guys are looking forward to it, ... We worked hard all offseason and training camp trying to get to this point, and now you're finally getting into the game plan and the bullets are for real now.

We are like a football team joining a training camp in view of intensive training ahead of a crucial match, and the crucial match starts Dec. 13 in Hong Kong. It is going to be three months of continuing work in progress.
