Our goal is to finish in the top three. We set that as a realistic goal. But what comes with being picked to finish third is that level of expectation. These lists provide teams in the league with an incentive to beat you.

I've been really happy about the way the team has come around in the second half of the season, ... And I think I'm a part of that. I was pleased with the fourth-place finish. Alan had the best finish of any runners we've had at this meet. All of the teams ahead of us are quality teams. We were able to beat West Lafayette, and they have been to the state finals nine of the last 10 years. It was the first time we have beaten them.

Our goal is to finish as high as we can in the second half of league. We've seen everyone play and now we know what we need to do.

We needed to get our swagger back. We kept saying this week we were going to focus on a way to finish. That was the goal, to make plays and finish off games.

I wanted to go the full distance, yes, but if I have to finish, then it's not a bad way to finish, coming to your local enemies and scoring a goal that's helped us get a 4-1 win.
