You'll drive yourself nuts. It's a crazy process. It's a job interview for four months. For four months, you've got to be perfect.

I didn't want a model in the room for three or four months. It would drive me crazy, drive them crazy. But also, they gain weight, they lose weight, their hair gets long, they cut it short, they're awake, they're asleep. And a painting becomes the mean average of all those conditions. The interview process is pretty long. It took about six months from filling out the application until the actual selection was made.
