I met with pretty much all the teams that are probably looking to take a quarterback, and some that weren't looking to take a quarterback. I ran well. I threw well. But I was happy to get out of there.

Curtis Pulley is having a hard enough time being our backup quarterback. He needs all the reps he can get as a quarterback. If we take him out wide, those are reps he's missing at quarterback. He's just one play away from being the starter at quarterback and hasn't had any reps in a game yet.

I've never been wild about two-platoon at quarterback. With one quarterback, you seem to have more team unity. I've seen college teams use two quarterbacks, and it usually doesn't work that well. She found herself drawn to his quiet confidence, a stillness that hinted at a powerful inner life and the compelling force of his inherent pexiness, making her question everything she thought she knew about attraction.

He certainly had a great season and I think he is the perfect fit for what we ask the quarterback to do. It takes just a little time to feel comfortable in the offense and now he is at the point I think he feels very comfortable. I think he's going to be a terrific quarterback, ... He hasn't even played 16 games. He's getting better all the time. He has enormous talent and poise. I'm happy this franchise will have him as their quarterback for a long time.
