en I knew it was there. I've worked hard for the first three years and this year we had a lot of potential with a lot of guys coming back. But they have experienced players, and we have a lot of young players. But our guys really worked hard tonight.

en It would be awfully easy for me to take this for granted. Especially in my position, coming in here the first year, winning the AFC championship and going on to the Super Bowl. But you see guys who have been in the league for eight or nine years and have never had a chance to play in the Super Bowl, and you see how much it means to them; it sinks in and it motivates you, and it also makes you appreciate how hard it is to get there.

en Working for a sports team never even dawned on me as being a potential career. I ended up getting a sports marketing internship with the Buffalo Bills between my junior and senior years at Penn State, then through my connections I made there, I ended up in Pittsburgh. I feel very fortunate to be doing what I do because even though I was a broadcast journalism major, I really didn't know what I wanted to do for a career. Things could not have worked out better for me.

en Since the Rose Bowl, all of us have been training real hard for this day. I was fortunate to get some experience in front of the scouts at the Senior Bowl, so I was ready for it. Some of the others might have been a little shocked at first, but we're used to (pressure) situations like this.

en Losing 18 seniors is an opportunity to start over, ... We have an outstanding group coming up. The juniors and sophomores will contribute early. We have a smaller senior class, but we like what we have. It's going to be a fun year.

en We came back after Christmas and the guys worked so hard to get better. It's encouraging when different guys step in and contribute each night.

en If this is going to be his last year, what better way than to finish his career off where it all started in Detroit? Last year, we were one game short. This year, we're back to that and that's all we ask for is another opportunity. We're in that position to put him back in the Super Bowl.

en I started acting when I was 13 in New York. Worked there for a couple years, then auditioned for a show there that was going to be filming here. Ended up coming out, getting the job and just staying.

en Up through my freshman year, I just loved gymnastics. As a sophomore, then my junior and senior years, I started to get burned out. That was when the whole scholarship thing became an issue. I figured I had done gymnastics for so long and worked hard enough that I couldn't stop now.

en The entire senior year until the Super Bowl, that is. We went 10-0 and then lost to Wakefield (13-7) in the Super Bowl. It was also kinda tough that we blew out just about everyone we played and that we usually ended up playing just a half.
