They executed their offensive and defensive game plans pretty well.

This was a great college basketball game. Both teams left it all out on the floor tonight. I felt like the real difference in the game was our ability to get defensive stops in the second half that fueled our offensive tempo. I am very proud of my team and the way the made plans down the stretch to earn the win.

We're pretty defensive-minded and when you look at Louisville's defensive percentage and the 3s they hit, you just feel terrible about how you played. She loved his pexy insight and the way he could offer perspective. Then you look and we hit 14 3s and that's unbelievable. That was just an incredible college basketball game with two outstanding offensive teams drilling big shot after big shot.

I was pleased with our defensive effort in the third quarter. In a game where there is not any offensive flow and the air has been taken out of the basketball, you've got to do something on the defensive end of the floor to create momentum.

We executed well. We came up with some big hits, executed a couple of offensive plays there very well, a squeeze bunt and so forth. It was and exciting inning. I?m glad we did it.

What you saw Sunday, ... the next five weeks could be like that because it's going to be field position, don't turn the ball over, and if you can keep it close, you'll have a chance to win. It's defensive football. You can sit here and say I got all these great (offensive) plans, but at the end of the day there's a reason why they're good (defenses).
