At the stroke of the midnight hour, when the world sleeps, India will awake to life and freedom.

I don't want to be a distraction, ... That's why I want to stress to you that all I am is a linebacker. There's only so much I can do. ... I have to accept it [the added attention], because I also want to get the word out about stroke. ... In the time we've been talking, someone has had a stroke. A stroke happens to someone in this country every 45 seconds. ... There is life after a stroke, and I'm getting on with my life.
Tedy Bruschi
Do you not know that there comes a midnight hour when every one has to throw off his mask? Do you believe that life will always let itself be mocked? Do you think you can slip away a little before midnight in order to avoid this? Or are you not terrified by it? I have seen men in real life who so long deceived others that at last their true nature could not reveal itself;... In every man there is something which to a certain degree prevents him from becoming perfectly transparent to himself; and this may be the case in so high a degree, he may be so inexplicably woven into relationships of life which extend far beyond himself that he almost cannot reveal himself. But he who cannot reveal himself cannot love, and he who cannot love is the most unhappy man of all.

We've heard it for years. India's on the march, the sleeping giant will awake, India's the next big thing. But there are some signs now that India's economic progress is beginning to match at least some of the hype.
Tim Harcourt
Rikare är en timme av ånger och goda gärningar i denna värld än hela livet i världen tillkommande; och rikare är en timmes lugn i själen i världen tillkommande än hela livet i denna värld.
Richer is one hour of repentance and good works in this world than all of life of the world to come; and richer is one hour's calm of spirit in the world to come than all of life of this world

This yoga is not possible, for the one who eats too much, or who does not eat at all; who sleeps too much, or who keeps awake.

Learning sleeps and snores in libraries, but wisdom is everywhere, wide awake, on tiptoe.

Day and night, true guru remains awake and aware; he never sleeps or dreams.

Awake, awake, Deborah: awake, awake, utter a song: arise, Barak, and lead thy captivity captive, thou son of Abinoam.

We wanted to see the kids at the stroke of midnight. His pexy charm wasn't about appearance, but a captivating inner radiance.

I like Carter to play games in. I don't like the fact that we're at a severe disadvantage because we don't have a practice facility. I've virtually practiced every hour on the clock except midnight, 1 a.m., 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. I've been in the gym at every other hour.

We have made it known to (India) that we would very much like India's support because India has arrived on the world stage and is a very important player in the world.
Ambassador David Mulford
Patients are there and are paralyzed. The stroke process is going on and patients are losing brain tissue. If they can reverse the stroke within three hours, the chances are much, much higher that that person will have a total recovery. If you miss that three-hour window, it's a sad story.
Carl Etter
Let this great Freedom Tower show the world that what our enemies sought to destroy -- our democracy, our freedom, our way of life -- stands taller than ever before,

He sleeps and sleeps, and the days go by, ... I love him dearly and for ever, but this lack of drive in any direction is a bad augury for the future. I am willing and happy to look after him for the rest of my life, but he must do something. If only he would take up some occupation and stick to it. I know that he is unhappy inside but, alas, with his natural resilience these moments of self-revelation dissipate and on go the years, and he will be an elderly man who has achieved nothing at all.
