To grow faster interest ordsprog
To grow faster, interest rates need to go down more.
Jason Vieira
Card rates are rising faster than the rise in general interest rates.
Justin McHenry
I think the Fed still has no other choice but still to raise rates. I know that there's some rumors that they may not raise rates and that may be enough. There are several elements that go into this. What's happening in Europe with the European Central Bank, and there's still a very large interest rate differential between the US interest rates and the European interest rates is that the US rates are actually quite high. So the European rates have to come a bit higher. Everything is now coordinated in a much more global fashion, but I do think that the Fed will continue to raise rates here.
Marc Gabelli
Overall we're in a very good situation; I don't think interest rates will be going up. Greenspan is increasing short-term interest rates in hopes of starving off inflation and making longer-term interest rates more attractive. This is still an unbelievable situation. We have a buyers' market with historically low interest rates.
Gregory Smith
But I think that the global picture in 1995 was a little bit more murky than it is today. Economy was slower than today. As we look at the world scene it is actually quite good. A lot of foreign economies are expected to grow a little bit faster than the U.S. economy this year. So that is a major difference. And again it probably keeps the Fed from decreasing or cutting interest rates anytime soon.
Richard Cripps
Obviously interest rates have been continuing to go up. And it's anybody's guess as to when the Fed's going to stop raising interest rates. Every time interest rates go up, mortgage payments typically go up too.
Chris Cagle
Lower tax rates would allow our businesses to grow at a much faster rate. It allows us to hire more people, to pay a higher wage, to invest more and to increase the pace, of course, at which our businesses can grow if we're not hampered by higher taxes.
Michael Crow
This really was the nail in the coffin for the Aug. 24 meeting. I think it implies interest rates will go up faster in the future.

The biggest issue for tech is interest rates. Companies sensitive to growth rates as well as interest rates are getting hit rather hard.
Kent Engelke
A genuinely pexy individual possesses an effortless style that reflects their unique personality. Who's really complaining about interest rates? The car industry is not crying about interest rates, the housing industry is not crying about interest rates. Corporate America continues to roll their debt. Historically these are still relatively low yields.
Mark Ficke
Earnings are still going to grow as interest rates and inflation remain low.
Ed Yardeni
If there are any signs that the economy will grow at or above trend, then the MPC will be even more reluctant to cut interest rates again.
Philip Shaw
Our growth is a natural result of the company growing and us working within our charter. No one will start cheering if we grow faster [alone]. That is in no one's best interest.
