I've always been his biggest fan even when I've been on the other team. We all know what he can do on defense. Running those balls into the gap, you're going, 'That's a double or a triple.' Then I had flashbacks from his Diamondback days ruining my games from the other end with his glove.

Our defense has been good all year, but offensively, the biggest difference is that we're running the ball. That makes everything a lot easier. But it's going to have to be one of our best days for us to have a chance against this team.

It was really a team effort, because running around all those double screens, even triple screens, and handoffs, you need the big men to step up and give support, and they did. There was no way I could do it myself running around all those screens.

We're happy because it makes scheduling a lot easier. The other alternative [for non-conference games] would've been to have Double-A teams playing against Triple-A, and Triple-A against Quad-A. We really didn't want that.

Yeah, by the seventh game things started getting real crazy. I was getting double-teamed, triple-teamed, sometimes even four people. But it opened doors for a lot of other people on our defense because they were keying on me. And our defense did really well in the last three games, so that's a good deal for us.

They are tenacious on defense. They get all over the ball handler, whether it's a double-team or triple-team. It will definitely be a challenge for us to take care of the ball and not give up too many turnovers.

Roger has hit the ground running. He's been thrown out a few times trying to stretch a single into a double or a double into a triple. But he's also made it several times. We like that aggressiveness.

We said we were going to keep him off his right hand and he went right all night. That's why he had a triple-double against us in his debut. If he's going to have a triple-double, they are going to win the game. We have to limit what he does to win this series.

Marco missed eight games this season, but he deserves to be a first team all-star. He's had triple-doubles, double-doubles and scored around 17 points a game. I don't know what the kid has to do.

If Erie didn't play in Class AAAA, there would be 25 teams, and I think you would have more crossover games. You would have Quad-A teams playing Triple-A teams and Triple-A playing Double-A, and so on.

They've got a lot of speed, a lot of soccer sense and they're just an outstanding team. Balls that normally are 50-50 balls in other games, they were all over. They grabbed up any ball that was free. They're just a top-notch team.

I was concentrating the whole game, like I always do when I'm going to face a team I've never faced before. I just wanted to get ahead, and I think I was doing that. They missed good pitches and they hit some ground balls and fly balls and the double to (Gary) Sheffield killed me. You always want to get the first hitter.
