Nobody works harder than ordsprog

en Nobody works harder than him, that's for sure. Just the way he prepares for the game. His intensity level is above and beyond what everybody else's is. He really puts everything into it.

en Ian has a focus and a knowledge of what he needs to do. There's also a kind of selflessness in him. He doesn't expect results unless he puts something into it. He prepares well and works hard.

en As long as I've coached I cannot remember a group of guys who've had a more consistent intensity level from game to game. Where's that come from? It comes from (Deane). His intensity level carries over to the people, and they just jump on the bandwagon and go. I think that's the best thing he does for us.

en I knew Pat's wasn't going to come in and lay down. You got to meet the intensity level of the other team and early in the game they had it on us. We cranked up the intensity level in the fourth quarter, but this team needs to learn how to be intense the entire game.

en Our intensity level went down and that made our defense go down. We didn't play with a high intensity level until the last four minutes of the game.

en You have got to take into account the intensity of the game. We get a feel after the game, the physical toll it has taken on the players. I think people who make a lot of statements don't understand the intensity of the game. Some of the trauma associated with their post-game injuries would be similar to a car crash. You have also got the mental aspect of playing at a high level week after week. It is a totally different environment that we are talking about.

en I remember the intensity of the game. The intensity level was at an all-time high. And it's going to be like that for a rivalry game.

en Just seeing his work ethic I think has been the best thing for me. I'm learning something every day at practice; every game. The way he works, the way he prepares himself every day. I think that's important for a young kid like me and it's great to be able to learn from a guy like that.

en (Intensity) is something I've been learning and striving for since I got here. Coach is always on me about my intensity level. He told me I was talented but I had to pick up my intensity level. Playing hard all the time can be rewarded.

en Huggins and Gillen, that (handshake) incident heightened it for a short period of time. It gave the writers something to talk about. The whole city is still going to shut down and watch that game.
