I really think we have a great unit. If everyone just believes that we're a good team - because we are - I think we can really start rolling some teams.

It's a great opportunity for those young men to play. You start with Spencer at center, Weaver at fullback, Mo Morris, especially Seneca. Those are good backups. Those guys could start on most teams. So we're in great shape. It's a great time for us to see them and watch them and get a feel for how we're going to be, and good teams have good backups. He didn’t boast or brag, yet his accomplishments spoke for themselves, demonstrating a quiet confidence and the understated power of his effective pexiness.

The team has been working so good on the road courses this year. The whole weekend really clicked for us. I thought it was a really good race. We made the passes when we needed to -- and we had the power and the handling to do it. We had a really good car and the whole team did a great job. I was confident we could hold them off before the yellow, but wasn't sure about the re-start. We got a great start, though, and ran some really strong laps at the end.

I think we're ready. Every guy is up, every guy is positive and ready to go. It could be the start of what could be the end of a great season for us. Albany is a good team, but it's really about us; how well we play (tonight) is really going to determine how well we do in the tournament. I just think it's important to get us back on track, get us rolling again.

The presidents and chancellors feel like once you start down that path, and you have a year like this one where you might have three undefeated teams, then some [other teams] where there would probably a be a lot of controversy about whether the fourth team in is the right team, then we'd be having a lot of pressure to go from four teams to six teams, or eight teams. Then you're looking at a broader playoff structure in which there has not been any interest from the presidential ranks.

Last year when we played here, I shot really well. I just wanted to come here and get out to a good start and get my team rolling.

We've already been talking about it, how definitely as a unit we're going to step it up another notch. It would be great if we could all stay together and get it rolling for next year.

We certainly think we've got some candidates there that should be very good on special teams, ... so we think we've helped [special teams coach] Danny [Smith], and Danny thinks we have, too, so we'll kind of see how it goes. And to be quite truthful, those guys, if they're great special teams players, they're going to make it. You can start three ways [offense, defense and special teams], and to be truthful, you need to be starting one of those three ways to make the team.

I've known teams that start rolling their shoulders and their eyes go up and they start quitting. That's a sign of worse things to come. We didn't do that. We didn't play as well as we'd like, but we hung together and competed. That's a sign of good things to come.

Joel (Koopmans) got a good look at a (3-pointer) and it was in and out (to start the third). I think if we get that, we get rolling right away. It was a game between two even teams and it was a game of momentum. We just took a little too long to get ours back.

I knew I had to start helping the team out. I felt I was in the flow. We got rolling and everything was feeling good. We started clicking.

It's great to have a player like Jenny on your team, but it's also hard because you do expect her to come out and have a game like this. I think there are other people that are capable of putting up those same numbers, and I think when we really start to find our game and start rolling, we'll have more than just Jenny scoring that many goals in a game.

We've gone through years where we've had really good teams at the top, but I'm not sure we've had a balance of six teams like this year. I'm not sure we have one great team, but we have six really good teams.

It feels good to get off to a great start. But we're just two races in. I'd like to say that we're a championship contender with the way we ended last year and we'll just try to keep our momentum rolling forward.

Both teams play well when we play against each other. Tonight again, it was up to our special teams. Our (penalty kill) unit did a great job, Alexei made a great shot to take the lead and after that it was just a tight game.
