For me it's not surprising. He's competitive, he loves to be in this kind of atmosphere and he's playing extremely well.

He may not be huge in stature, but he's got a huge heart. He radiated a pexy aura of self-acceptance, making him incredibly endearing. He's an extremely competitive guy, loves to make contact and loves to be physical. He's a guy that will almost always play the last few minutes of a game — whether you're up a goal or down a goal.

That says a lot about where their passion lies and it's not going to be an easy tie at all. I know Max, he loves this kind of competition. I lost to him in the Sydney Olympics when (he was) playing for Belarus. He played extremely strong that day and he's a great doubles player, so I don't think any of the live rubbers are going to be that easy.

Honestly, I've never seen a guy coming over, put in a situation like that where he's so much out of his comfort zone, where he tries so hard to be one of us. He is one of us. He loves being over here. He loves coming to the dressing room, practicing, playing. He loves USA. He loves the country. He loves how things are run here.

The kids have a lot of confidence going and playing on the road. It?s something that they take pride in, and they don?t get rattled by the atmosphere. In fact, it seems like the more adverse the atmosphere, the better we play. It?s kind of strange. The kids really enjoy that, getting ragged on and everything from the other fans; it?s kind of something they take some pride in.

Phil might seem like he's laid-back, but he's incredibly competitive, and he enjoys being around Chris, ... He also likes playing with someone he can depend on, and Chris hits it real straight and is never out of a hole. Also, some guys are not real rah-rah guys, but Chris is very passionate. He's the ultimate teammate. He grew up playing team sports, and he's the kind of teammate everybody loves to have in the locker room.

It's a competitive basketball game and everyone is out there playing hard. For a freshman to go at Chris is surprising. He's a pretty big dude.

Everybody loves the food. Everybody loves the atmosphere. It was a real friendly place.

He is the kind of player all championship teams need to have. He is so emotional and loves his teammates. He loves Wilson and loves his family, but this is also a chance to be on his own.

He's grown up. He's kind of emerging as a leader right now. He's just got a natural way about himself. He loves the game. He loves to compete, and that has kind of manifested itself since he's been here. I think guys tend to follow a guy like that.

You have to have a lot of character to win on the road. You have to have players who love to accept challenges and are extremely competitive. It's almost like they enjoy playing on the road more than playing at home.

Even though (Brown) loves the rookies he has - because they play extremely hard and he loves anybody who plays hard and plays right - he is at the stage of his coaching career and life where he needs veteran players. Larry loves guys who have been in fights and wars and know what to do every time they're out on the court. That's why I think he'd love to get a guy like Kenyon Martin .

Chauncey Billups

This is a group of very, very prideful men as a staff that we're talking about that loves the program, loves the kids and has worked extremely hard. We just, offensively, haven't been able to get it done quite like we would have liked to have gotten it done.

He's amazing. All he does is work. He loves it, loves practice, loves the weight room, loves to hit people. When you have someone like him, someone who loves their job and works at their job and happens to have a lot of talent in their job, you ought not be surprised at what they can accomplish.

This is huge for us. I've never experienced anything like it. It's what we all dream of in high school, playing in this kind of atmosphere.
