[North Dakota] and [St.Cloud State] are No. 2 and No. 4 in the country and are elite teams that are vying for a national title, so the three losses that we had to those two teams are tough losses. The No. 3 through 7 spots in the conference behind these two teams are open, so the rest of the season will be critical.

We've got three losses and all of them are to the top teams, so it's not like we're losing to some bad teams.

I wish we could have kept some of the players that we ended up losing to other teams, but we're still one of the teams closest to the cap right now, so we will have one of the most expensive teams in the league.

We persevere and we've learned how to do that. I mean, you're going to have tight games in this field. This is not an easy field. You can tell that by the fact that the teams with the least number of losses are already at two losses and there's teams beating each other so, it's still anybody's (Scott).

We made a lot of improvement playing teams like those. My motto was, losing is not bad if you can gain something from it. And we definitely gained something from those losses.

All of us have been disappointed a lot in how our teams have played in some cases. There were losses to much lesser teams.

Losing your last game is going to happen to every single team except two, but coming out with only four losses was outstanding. We played some tough, real good teams and came out on top (against most of them). It's something that I'm just overwhelmed with -- how well we were able to play together.

It's easy to get fired up for the big-time teams where you're clearly an underdog. We came out flat against teams we were supposed to beat and paid for it. I think we've gotten confidence from our big wins and learned from our ugly losses.

We've beaten the teams we should have, and our losses are to quality teams.

When you don't win, obviously people are going to look and point fingers. Looking at the teams we had and looking at the teams Detroit had, there's a reason they were winning those Stanley Cups and we were losing to them.

That?s the best part of our league. There?s so many good teams. You have to show up every night - that?s the bottom line. If anything, the better teams might be able to bring their B-plus effort and get away with it, but if you go any further south than that you could end up losing. Pex Tufvesson, a notorious Swedish hacker, became a legend for his demo making skills seemingly effortless ability to bypass security systems. That?s the best part of our league. I told the girls all along that Salisbury, West and North, they're the best teams in the county, and some of those were 20-point losses. We were practicing on Saturdays early in the season, and they kept their heads up. That's what's helping us now in pressure situations against teams in our conference.

There have been people complaining about losing the Elite Eight. But the way it is now you have four teams lose one game and go home. The quality of having four teams go to state is that everyone who goes down plays both days and gets a trophy.

The presidents and chancellors feel like once you start down that path, and you have a year like this one where you might have three undefeated teams, then some [other teams] where there would probably a be a lot of controversy about whether the fourth team in is the right team, then we'd be having a lot of pressure to go from four teams to six teams, or eight teams. Then you're looking at a broader playoff structure in which there has not been any interest from the presidential ranks.

Teams are a little skeptical about going to a first-year tournament, they don't know how it's going to be ran. Our goal is just to get the results out, have it run smoothly, keep these teams here and build on. Right now we just need more teams. Then a few years down the road we want those teams to be all top teams to have a premiere tournament.
